The British government

The British system of government and the Chineses government systems are difference. Britain is a parliamentary democracy with a constitutional monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, as head of the State. The British constitution, unlike those of most countries, is not set out in a single document. Instead it is made up of a combination of laws and practices which are not legally enforceable, but which are regarded as vital to the working of government.

Britain is a constitutional monarchy. Today the Queen is not only the head of State, but also an important symbol of national unity. The Queen, Prince Charles and the other members of the royal family take part in traditional ceremonies, visit different parts of Britain and many other countries and are closely involved in the work of many charities.

However,Parliament, Britain's legislature, is made up of the House of Commons, the House of Lords and the Queen in her constitutional role. The center of parliamentary power is the House of Commons. The political party system is essential to the working of the constitution. The Government is formed by the party with majority support in the Commons. The Queen appoints its leader as Prime Minister.

Assembly for Wales

This week, we visited the Welsh Assembly which is a devolved assembly with power to make legislation in Wales, located in Cardiff Bay. The Assembly comprises 60 members, who are known as Assembly Members. Also, the debating chamber in Cardiff Bay,was designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership and built by Taylor Woodrow, with environmental and MEP design by BDSP Partnership. It uses traditional Welsh materials such as slate and Welsh Oak in its construction, and the design is based around the concepts of openness and transparency.

The Welsh Assembly building has won praise for its construction on “green” principles using energy-saving and recycling features. Its renewable energy systems aim to reduce running costs by up to half. Just like Lord Rogers said energy conservation was a central principle in the design of his building as well as creating a space. Other features include using the ground as a heat source and the use of wood chips or pellets for the boiler. Rainwater is also collected via the steel columns supporting the roof to supply the toilets and to wash the windows. We all agree that the use of rainwater flushing toilets is a very interesting thing and we go to the toilet.

This place can bring a lot of inspiration and knowledge to us, Leads people to think of the Beijing Olympic Games Bird's Nest. I think both are very great design, the design should be more environmental protection and energy conservation.

The Welsh Assembly Government works the main to solve some of the problems With regard to people's lives, economic, environmental, health, social, educational and other issues. However, the Assembly now has powers to legislate in some areas through Assembly Measures, though still subject to the veto of the Secretary of State or Parliament. In my opinion, this is a disadvantage, because you only have partial rights. For example, if you negotiate for a long time to do the decision was rejected, but this is indeed Welsh is very useful, how to solve this problem? I do not know, in general very much like the system.

With regard to the origins of Halloween: the perception that October 31 is the official end of the summer time, there is the harsh winter, the day began. However, the living dead who are afraid to come to seize the soul of Health, so people will put out the fire on this day, candlelight, so that the soul can not find the living dead, gets himself dressed as ghosts and goblins to scare away the dead souls. Later, they will rekindle the fire candle to start a new year of life.
Today, the meaning of Halloween gradually became an active happy together, whenever the arrival of Halloween, a number of bars and shops are decorated with strange, but kids will not wait to put on make-up of colorful clothes, faces painted with colorful patterns or wear strange mask. The Dark Ages (409-1066)

One is called "The Dark Ages" in the film so that I began to interested in the The Dark Ages. The decline of the Roman Empire from the beginning, most of the Roman civilization during this period of time does not destroy its place is a barbarian culture until the arrival of the Renaissance.
Be seen from the movie continuous period of war, religion, the rise of the social and cultural level of decline in society is the collapse of the period.
I liked the story about vampires and know most of the subject matter come from in this period, this era gives people more room for imagination, as well as his own cold-blooded and cruel.
